Pau

There are two airports nearby, Pau is the nearest at about fourty minutes drive away.  You can get flights to Pau from Stanstead and from Bristol (Ryanair). Click here to visit the Pau airport website; http://www.pau.aeroport.fr/

Toulouse

There is greater choice of departure airport if you fly to Toulouse, you can fly from Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Gatwick, Leeds/Bradford and Manchester. .Toulouse is about one-and-a-half hours drive from La Maison Tranquille.Directions to the house will be sent to via email when you book. Bordeaux

Bordeaux is quite a bit further but there are many flights from the UK. Travelling from Bordeaux airport to La Maison Tranquille is pleasant is there is a lot less traffic in this part of France than in the UK. Carcassonne

Driving

Some prefer to drive, if you are touring France and can take your time this is a great way to see the various regions of the country. It is a long drive from the UK and probably on worth undertaking if you intend staying for a few weeks. There are many ferry companies offering great deals to cross the channel, although if travelling in high season you need to book a few months ahead. You could take the Channel Tunnel instead of the ferry.
